Our Handsome Son...

It is crazy that I never get tired of looking at my handsome pup? He's such a ham, too! I love his snout, his eyes and his floppy ears...I'm so in love with him. He's such a sweet boy and an excellent companion. I couldn't imagine not having him in our lives. Sometimes we just lay in bed and watch all the funny ways he sleeps. And sometimes he drives us bonkers! But we love him so much. We love our goofy guy! Such personality...

So pretty...

I love these shots I got on my cell phone when we went up to Waimea Valley on the North Shore. The peacocks are everywhere! They are so beautiful and they are all over the place walking around! I couldn't help but get right up close to snap a few shots! How amazing are God's beautiful creations. How could anyone doubt our Creator! Not me, no way. Not me.

Date Night...

A few weekends ago, our crew went out for dinner at Gordon Biersch at Aloha Tower. This isn't the greatest photo, but I just had to share. We had a great dinner and great night. I sure will miss the good company of close friends.
I just HAD to share this cute pic of how my lobster bisque was served...a sweet hibiscus was drawn in cream on top! I didn't even wanna eat it! How creative!
Last month, mom was able to fly out to spend a week with me. I was so excited and enjoyed her so much. As you can tell, Bourbon was also very excited and didn't like to see his Gammy go home. I love this pic of the two of them just sitting on the sofa. Oh what a character he is. I can't wait to have her around me all the time. I hate spending months and months away from all the ones I love so much.

The Girls....

Here's a pic of us three girls...I am so thankful to have these friends close to me to help make my life away from home a little easier to bear. Though we may not always see eye to eye, we get along and enjoy hanging out...But life with these two is coming to an end quickly, as they will both be moving home and getting out of the navy life just next month. How excited they must be to start their real lives! I have known Lindsey (left) ever since we moved to Virginia in 2008. I can't believe the time has already come to say goodbye. And Crystal, she's fairly new to our twosome...we only met her last year when she and Steven got married and she moved here from Texas. Now they are new parents and ready to go home to San Antonio. I am so sad to know that goodbye is so soon and just peeking around the corner. Just the other night in the car with Charles at a red light I realized how much this changes things for me. I hope that I can make it the rest of the year without my girls....

USS Jax Softball

Last month, Charles' softball team was #1! I love this shot of him and his team after they won their last game! Now they are in the tournament! They also won the first game they played in the tournament, and more is to come!

USS Jax Soccer

In June, the USS Jax soccer team were so excited to have a win! We had to have a celebratory photograph to remember this great moment! Although there softball team is #1, the soccer team isn't quite what you would call good...but don't they look like pros in the uniforms? he he

Twins????

Can you tell which one is our handsome son Bourbon? Don't worry! We have trouble ourselves. Recently, we hooked up with another couple who has a weim the same age as Bourbon. His name is Oscar, but he goes by Ozzy...It is such a small world because Ozzy went to Thee Dog House for training in Virginia Beach just like Bourbon. They each were trained by Dan. They look so much alike that its hard for us to tell them apart when they are both running around at the dog park! They also both have camo collars! Just so you know, Bourbon is the one standing on the left!
