This was my latest trip home to see everyone...I didn't get to spend much time with them because we were headed straight to ScrapFest. But I am glad I got to see them, even if it was just a quick visit....I love the picture at the bottom...we're only missing one important person-CHARLES! Miss you baby!

ScrapFest 2010!

Sorry I am so late at posting my latest trip back home to Baton Rouge! ScrapFest 2010 is held in Mandeville, La every year, and I flew in to see everyone...Mom and I had so much fun, but we were definitely tired from the 45 hours of scrapbooking!!! I enjoyed seeing everyone one and spending some good quality time with my momma. I wish I could go every year...

Hello all...

Me and Bourbon have had a lovely Saturday...We decorated the yard with Halloween goodies this afternoon and then took his Halloween photos for our Halloween cards! He looks so handsome in his little punkin' eater suit! I just love him! He's such a photogenic pup! Bourb, the kitty boys, and I hope everyone is doing well. We miss our daddy and can't wait for him to be home! We'll keep everyone updated on when that happens. Right now, we still have awhile to go...

LSU vs. UNC

So I'm just sittin' here, me and the pup, watching the game...sure is lonely not having Charles around to explain all the stuff I don't understand...at least I understand the touchdowns! And since the score is 30-10 right now, I'm pretty excited. Today's been a pretty lazy day...got my oil changed then came home and did some laundry and made some burgers for lunch. I made Bourbon his own little mini burger patty. It was so good...he really enjoyed it! Now he's sacked out on the floor by my feet. He's probably wishing we were doing something a bit more entertaining, but today is just a blah day I guess....

I am super excited that this is a three day holiday weekend. Though I will thoroughly enjoy the days off, it still sucks to be so far away by myself. Ugh.

At least I've made it through the halfway point. Halfway done with our last deployment. Can't wait. I know Charles is ready too. We can't wait to get back to the great state of LA.

We are trying to get home for Christmas so mark your calendars! Hopefully we'll be able to see as many people as possible. I'm giving everyone plenty head's up!

Scrapaganza 2010

When mom came to visit in July, we hosted Scrapaganza...It wasn't a total hit, but we had fun!

Wow, it's been a month!!!

I can't believe its been an entire month since my last post! A lot has happened since then! Mom came to visit July 13 ththrough July 26th and we had an amazing visit. I didn't want her to leave me! The following week, I started my new job at a new department at Tripler Army Medical Center. I am so happy and so THANKFUL to finally be back at TAMC again. I HATED not being here! I am now working in the Interventional Pain Management Clinic with three anesthesiologists. I assist in multiple procedures each day which include epidural steroid injections, joint injections and nerve ablasions. Its pretty interesting stuff, I'll have to say. Well, just glad to be back!

Charles is still on deployment right now. The critters and I miss him terribly, but we are making it okay. We try to keep busy and that helps a lot.

I am currently waiting on my new computer to be shipped so I can upload my pictures. My old laptop went kapootz and so I ordered a new Mac Book Pro. I am super excited to get it in. So, until then, I will just have to write on this computer at work.

Gotta get back to work. Love and miss you all...
