Charles got a new road bike for his birthday, and ofcourse I didn't wanna be left out. So I got a much cheaper hybrid bike so I could chug along with him, or so I thought. His bike is expensive, and now I know why. Oh I get to the same place he is going....Just a lot slower! He really has to try to stay with me. His bike just likes to carry him away, and mine, well, lets just say it goes fast but not fast enough! Either way, I love getting to spend this time with my hubby, and the exercise definitely doesn't hurt either! Last Saturday, we rode the 9 mile roundtrip to Hickam Beach on the Air Force Base for lunch at the Beach Bar. I couldn't believe I made it! We also went back again on the following Wednesday for all you can eat southern night and had dinner right about the time the sun was setting. I guess in a way, I will miss Hawaii and how lucky we are to be by the water. Here are some pics of our Saturday outing...
